King Tide

A king tide is an especially high tide that only occurs a few times a year. This occurs when the Earth, Moon and Sun are aligned. These gravitation pulls on the movement of the sea provide the inspiration and structure for this painting. This painting is currently on show at Parker Gallery, in Nelson.
