I am a Nelson-based artist working in mixed media.

In recent years my work has explored the nexus between landscape and abstraction. The paintings, often in a circular format, use multiple horizons -  and are able to convey a range of vistas and moods within one vision.

These works reflect my growing interest in experimenting with surface and texture, and the boundaries between painting and sculpture.

While I don't paint literal landscapes, my environment inspires me on a daily basis.
